The first thing that comes to mind is …What is a “Cheap LCD TV”?  When people say “Cheap” do they really mean “inexpensive”?  Or does “Cheap” mean “I want the best LCD TV I can find for the money”?  I would say “YES” to both these questions.

When people search for cheap LCD TVs I don’t believe they are looking for a cheap off brand who’s manufacturer won’t be around a year from now or won’t backup the so called manufacturer’s warranty.  Remember the warranty is only as good as the company offering it.  I feel people are looking for the best bang for their buck.  When looking for a cheap LCD TV I caution you to know the manufacturer you’re buying from or you may just get what you’re asking for … something cheap.

I suggest when searching for a cheap LCD TV you might consider a refurbished LCD TV.  It’s a great alternative and you can save 20% - 30% off the retail price of the same model.  If you’re in the market for a 65” LCD you could pick a refurbished model up for around $4,000.  Now I’d say that’s a “cheap LCD TV”!  You can get refurbished LCD TVs from well known manufacturers like Toshiba, Polaroid, Westinghouse and Panasonic.  Again be sure you know the manufacture of your TV before you buy.
